Trip #4 of the year to the ER for Jeremy today. This one was because his pt/inr was 5.13. Because of his valve, he should be at 2.5.  Today at 4:05 the clinic called to let us know that Jeremy needed to go to the ER for a shot of vitamin K to help thicken his blood.  He has another blood draw due on Monday to see how he's doing.

It really makes no sense why Jeremy's pt/inr is so screwed up. His potassium and sodium are way low too. There seems to be no real reason why.  For whatever reason the doctor wants to recheck the potassium and sodium in a week THEN have a doctor appointment. I'm not sure what she's waiting for, for it to get worse? I don't know ...
