There was a big fire Monday morning out behind the house. The local meth lab burned. Three big explosions rocked the house and shook us up pretty bad. The first explosion woke me up and I thought is was a lightening strike and then the seconded one hit and I was thinking we had been struck twice so I went down stairs to make sure Ginger was ok and she screamed that the house was on fire and that woke me up and then she said it again this time she added it was the neighbors house so I looked out the window and sure enough the house was fully involved. Ginger called 911 while I got dressed and we went outside to watch then the third and biggest blast happened. The girls all lost their bladders on the floor. I was trying to calm everyone down and make sure we all had our fingers and toes and tails and we went outside. by the time we got outside the fire dept was there and attacking the fire with a surround and drowned tactic because there was nothing else they could do. It took them about 3 hours to put the fire out and send everyone home. The fire knocked out power and took the cable out. We got power back about 3 hours later and the cable was just turned back on. Thankfully no one was home in the house and we are all fine. The fire is under investigation. So that's the big doings here in Ontonagon. The house that burned was only about 50 feet from our back door.

My Bible Studies are going very well and I should be baptized this time next year. I've very excited for that day.
