Good Tuesday Morning Everyone!

Good Morning!

Jeremy had a good night.  Last evening it looked like we were leaning towards a rough nights, but after he got his bedtime meds and all the pain meds they could give him, he slept soundly until about 3 am. He got a good 6 hours of heavy drug induced sleep.  It has helped him. He's still in pain, and the lump is still under his chin and will need to be dealt with today, but he's in good mental health.

So here's what I know we are going to be dealing with today ... Shortly the ENT (ear, nose & throat) doctor will be coming in to see how that lump has progressed since he was here yesterday this time.  Since there is a hard lump there Jeremy will be having a ct (hopefully this morning) to determine what the lump is.  Most likely the ct will lead to another surgery, also hopefully today.

Oh, and I have a confession to make. I have an addiction. To yarn.  I know it doesn't sound bad, it's only yarn right? Not an illegal substance that will harm my relationship with Jehovah or my body.  I came to the realization today when I was washing up for the day.  I was starting to make a mental list of things I'm going to need to pick up at Walmart if we don't go home Wednesday. After I got thru the couple things that I NEEDED to get, I had the happy thought "Oh and I can check out the yarn again too. Maybe I'll pick up another two colors. Then I thought, no, Mom will say, didn't you just get THREE new colors yesterday? And here's where I came to the realization that I most definitely have an addiction. I came up with THREE reasons why it was okay for me to get yet more yarn.  (1) I was already thru almost one color since I bought it last evening (2) It's a stress reducer and I'm under A  LOT  of stress (3) How often do I get to a place that yarn is HALF the cost of the price in Ontonagon AND has a different choice of colors?  Now to me, any ONE of those is enough of a legit reason why I need to buy more yarn. It's most certainly IS NOT an excuse.

Okay the nurse and nursing student are in here to do a bunch of routine things. More later when I know more.  Hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather. Thanks again for the phone calls, words of encouragement and prayers.
