It's almost 2:30 (central time) and Jeremy just came back from his ct scan and we are now waiting for the results. I don't know how long it takes to get results here, but in Ontonagon it's about an hour or so. Jeremy skipped lunch and hasn't been drinking anything since about 11:30 or so (when the ENT Dr came in) just in case he's going to need surgery later today. The ENT seemed to lean towards Jeremy's not going to need surgery at this time because his white blood count is good and he is not running a fever. The redness is Jeremy's chest has decreased and it's not as warm as yesterday, he's also saying that it doesn't hurt as much. All very good news. Jeremy asked the ENT if he thought if Jeremy might be able to go home tomorrow (Wednesday). The ENT said we're still day by day, he couldn't say yes or now.
Yesterday evening and this morning Jeremy has had a student nurse, named Sheng, taking care of most of his nursing needs. We all think she's going to make a really good nurse. She not only knows her nursing, but she has a good bedside manner. She's also good natured and taking Jeremy's attempts at throwing her for a loop very good naturedly.
