We're going to Gin's little brothers house this afternoon for a family function and she said she would make cookies. She ended up making the cookies in the toaster oven or as she calls it the "easy bake oven."
It's still cold and snowing like hell. It's 5.4 right now and it's only going to get colder. I'm so finished with winter. I'm so tired of being cold. I'm sick of not being able to get warm. No matter how many layers you have on the cold just sets in and makes me ache.

Warning Description: Special Statement
Warning Date: 4:04 am CST on January 25, 2014/
Warning Summary: ...Another Dangerous Arctic Air Invasion Is Coming Sunday Night
Through Tuesday...
Warning Message:
A low pressure system tracking through the Great Lakes will drop 1
to 2 inches of snow across Upper Michigan on Sunday. As this low
shifts to the east Sunday night...strong northwest winds will drag
bitterly cold Arctic air into the upper Great Lakes. Expect
temperatures to fall below zero over almost all of west and central
Upper Michigan...and to near 20 below zero over the interior west by
sunrise on Monday. Air temperatures will then struggle to rise above
zero on Monday as the core of the cold air mass crosses the upper
Great Lakes. In fact...temperatures may reach only 10 below over much
of western Upper Michigan Monday. Even though the coldest air will
slip to the east on Tuesday...temperatures will remain below zero at
most locations into Wednesday morning.
The combination of gusty west to northwest winds and the very low
air temperatures will drive wind chills down to as low as 35 to 45
below zero for much of Monday...Monday night and Tuesday morning.
As the bitterly cold air surges into Upper Michigan Sunday night...
snow showers will redevelop off Lake Superior...especially into the
snow belts east of Marquette. In fact...a period of strong winds and
blizzard conditions may develop between Shot Point and Munising
Sunday night into Monday morning. The snow showers will then shift to
the snow belts east of Munising late Monday into Tuesday. Although
total snowfall during this time will not be excessive...the strong
northwest winds will cause considerable blowing and drifting of the
fine snow flakes...leading to whiteouts at times...especially at
exposed locations along the Lake Shore. Snow showers over northwest
Upper Michigan will generally be light...but whiteouts may still
occur due to falling snow and blowing snow.
The combination of the intense cold and low visibilities will cause
difficult travel Sunday night through Tuesday. If you must venture
out...be prepared for dangerous weather conditions. Plan to carry
emergency supplies in your car in case you become stranded.
