Warning Message:

Hazardous weather...
* light snow this evening will become heavier overnight into Sunday
morning as much colder air moves into the region. In addition...there
may be some patchy freezing drizzle through early this evening.
* Expect total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches from tonight
through Sunday with the greatest amounts in the higher
terrain from Ironwood to The Porcupine mountains. Farther
inland...look for 2 to 4 inches from Marenisco to Paulding
and Bruce Crossing.
* North winds gusting to 30 mph late tonight and Sunday will produce
areas of blowing and drifting snow...especially near the Lake
Superior shoreline.
Impacts...
* roads will become snow covered and hazardous.
* Blowing and drifting snow will result in poor visibility in
open areas.
