This is Ginger. Jeremy's feeling under the weather. I think it's mainly the weather's getting cooler and his allergies.

Dad's doing better. He's getting in and out of bed mostly by himself. He still needs help with the back brace and can't get up and down the steps by himself (we have to move the walker for him). He needs help dressing too because he's not supposed to bend, twist or lean yet.  The doctors are encouraging him to stay on flat ground, but he's going a bit shack happy and giving Mom a run for her money.

Everyone has been so helpful. It brings tears to my eyes when I think about all the people who came over Saturday morning and help cut, split and pile in the woodshed the firewood that Dad wouldn't be able to get cut on his own.

There's a lot of family visiting this weekend. Originally the plan was to go camping out at Bond Falls Flowage. We wouldn't be able to go ourselves, because I had to work but were planning on visiting everyone out there when we could. That changed when Dad got hurt and we've been over there helping Mom with him. I've stayed over most nights and Ben has stayed over the rest. We've been having trouble with our phones, can't call out and texting is spotty, so I don' t know how last night went. I think Ben was going to stay for most of it.

Adding to Mom's stress is the fact that a week ago she got a call from her sister, Gloria saying that their Mother (Grandma Evelyn) was admitted to the Medford hospital. She had been feeling run down and was having GI issues.  She was transferred to Wausau and stayed there until Friday when she was transferred to a nursing home. It sounds like the plan is to get Grandma stronger and then she's going to move into one of a few senior apartment complexes. I know that will be easier on her, she won't have to worry about the farm as much. Well, I guess she's still going to worry, but there burden of it all will be off of her.

I'm back to work, had been off since Dad came home from Marquette, I was at Mom and Dad's every night except for two, I had to take Jeremy to doctor appointments out of town and had to stay the night so we could leave early in the morning.  Anyway, I finally was able to come home on Saturday afternoon.  It's so nice to be home, but I worry about Mom and Dad.  I know they'll be okay and that Dad is doing so much better than he was when he originally came home. Plus Ben is there and the Home Health nurse is stopping by twice a week and he has to go to weekly doctor appointments so it's all going to be okay.
