Monday afternoon Dad was cutting down a tree and it landed on him and broke his back. Freddy found him after he decided to go looking for him because Dad didn't show up for the ride home from Iron River. Freddy called the ambulance and he was transported to Iron River Hospital. Later than night he was transported to Marquette General so he could be closer to his Specialist. Dad had surgery on Wednesday and they injected some sort of cement to fuse the vertebrae back together. MGH sent Dad home yesterday and now Ginger is down there helping to take care of him. Ginger said she'd be home in 2 or 3 days. I'm bored and lonely already but someone had to stay home and take care of the animals.
