The weather is great. Mid 70's and sunny. It should last through the weekend.

Saturday night Sonny and I went fishing. On the way to the damn the boat trailer popped off the hitch and by the time we were able to stop the only thing attached to it was one chain. Thank Goodness we didn't loose the trailer entirely. It took us about twenty minutes the get hooked back up and get back on our way. When we got to the dam and tied up to the dock I ended up doing a belly flop getting in. That was humiliating. Then we get out on the water and I almost landed four big bass They kept spitting out my lures. The last big bass actually broke my line and swam away with my last Hula Popper which kinda bummed me out. I like to fish with top water bait lures. We're finally back to the dock tied up and I go to get out of the boat and I put one foot up on the dock and pushed off and ended up rolling onto the dock pulling a groin muscle. I love fishing from the boat but getting on and off suck!

The Air Force has been flying up and down the coast practicing lazing and targeting buildings for bomb runs with the F117 Stealth Fighter. It's kinda scary but really cool seeing the Stealth Fighter. If I can I'll get a picture. A few weeks ago the Stealth Fighter flew right over head while we were fishing at the marina. My phone and the camera were up in the truck so I couldn't get a picture but I was jumping up and down pointing letting Ginger know it was the Stealth Fighter. What a beautiful aircraft.

I restrung my blue fishing pole with my closed face reel. The closed face has 30 pound test and my other two poles have 6 and 10 pound test. 30 pound test is overkill but I don't want to loose anymore fish because my line breaks.

I can't wait to get back out on the lake. We're going up to Minnesota Mine Wednesday morning. We're fished down there a number of times and have only caught pumpkin seeds but I know there are bigger fish in there and that is what I'm going to go after. I wish it didn't take me almost 30 years to get back to fishing. I love to fish and I obsess about it. I dream about it some times.
