After the meeting on Sunday Ginger and I went to her folks house for supper. Before supper Dad and I sighted in one of my pellet rifle and had a skills contest which we tied. At 25 yards we had a grouping of about an orange. We were both very impressed. Dad seems to think I could take a turkey down but I'm not so sure. At least not with a 6gr. pellet but maybe with a 15gr. The 15gr. has more take down power but the 6gr. has more penetration. I'm going to pick up a box of 15gr. and another box of super sonic pellets and test all three rounds. I'll be interested to see which will be a better round. I think I'm going to you tube the subject and see what I can find.
