this afternoon to 11 am EST /10 am CST/ Saturday...

The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow which is in effect from 4 PM EST /3 PM CST/
this afternoon to 11 am EST /10 am CST/ Saturday.

Hazardous weather...

* snow showers will develop this morning... and then become moderate
to possibly heavy at times late this afternoon through early
Saturday morning. The snow will diminish late Saturday morning and
end by late Saturday afternoon.

* By early Saturday afternoon... plan on total snow accumulations of
5 to 9 inches over the higher terrain from Ironwood and Wakefield
to The Porcupine mountains... White Pine and Bergland. Lighter
amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected from Watersmeet to Bruce
Crossing and Mass City.
