We woke up this morning to find the furnace had gone down. Ginger called the heating and plumbing people and they said they would try to get somebody out here by noon. Unfortunately we haven't heard anything from them since. Thank goodness we have two space heaters and if need be the propane heater and 60 lbs of fuel. Hopefully next week we will get the rest of our taxes back. We're going to get a couple hand guns and an AR15 for self and home protection. I'm comfortable with most handguns and the AR15. I just need to get Ginger comfortable with a handgun. I'll bring her up to her folks house with a half dozen boxes of rounds and teach her what she needs to know.
