I just saw my family doctor and my Diabetes Educator this morning and they are very concerned about my Diabetes. My a1c (3 month average) is 11 and I should be below 7. I've got an appointment with a dietitian next Tuesday and I need to see an Endocrinologist to get on a special type of insulin. In order for us to see an endo we have to go to Marquette and we just don't have the money to do that. My Doc and DE have me on a standing monthly appointment now. Here's to Diabetes.
