The wind has been kicking up pretty good since yesterday. The house is rather chilly. The thermometer says 69 but feels colder than that. I'm still waiting for my new duel band handie talkie to be delivered. Ginger told me that she wants one the next time we get paid. It's not a bad idea for both of us to have one. We can use the new ht to listen to police and fire, to talk on frs/gmrs frequencies, talk on ham frequencies and get local weather. We won't be able to talk on ham freqs until we take and pass the tests but it gives us motivation to do it. With all the crap that is going on with the country I'm sure it won't be long until the government shuts down cell service and other means of communication. I just don't trust Obama and his administration. Obama is going to find a way to delay the elections and then really fuck us over.
