Labor Day weekend. Ginger has to work. She's up in bed right now. We went yard sailing yesterday and today. Gin found some glass baking dishes and a few other things. I found a complete set of Laura Ingalls Wilder books. I just wanted to own the set.

My neighbors daughter is home on leave. She joined the Navy a year ago. The last time I saw her was at Pamida and she was scared to death. I talked with her yesterday and she told me it was the best decision she has ever made. She told me that she thinks she's finally making her folks proud. I told her that no matter what she decides to do her parents will always be proud of her. I'm really proud of her. I look at all the kids that have graduated from high school and are still here in town and some of them are getting into trouble. I'm very excited for Heather. She's headed out to the fleet very soon. Go on hunny show the world what you can do.
