Special Weather Statement 

... Strong thunderstorms possible late this afternoon...

As of 120 PM CDT... a cluster of strong thunderstorms over western
Wisconsin was lifting toward northwest Wisconsin and far southwest
Upper Michigan. These thunderstorms could affect the Ironwood and
Iron River areas by 3 PM CDT. There is a chance these storms could
turn severe with large hail and damaging winds as they arrive over
Upper Michigan. Additional strong or possibly severe thunderstorms
could develop over the rest of western and central Upper Michigan
through 8 PM EDT/7 PM CDT. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or other
media outlets for the latest information on these developing
thunderstorms and for possible warnings.
