>It's been a weeks since the lights came back on. Last Friday we had a wicked wind storm and it took down a tree a block north of us. The power was out for almost 24 hours. We ended up missing the Truck race and almost missed the Nationwide race. Things came back on about 10 minutes before that race. The outside was around 5 and the house got down to 49. It was one of the most miserable nights we've ever had.

The 500 was a good race but the two car tango got old quick. This week they are in Phoenix so the racing will be much better. The truck race just finished and Kyle Busch won. Damn if he ain't another Dale Earnhardt. I've kinda jumped on his bandwagon. I've gotten to be friends with Alli Owens who drives the #76 Rueziffera.com Ford in the Camping World Truck Series and the ARCA Series. We've been trading emails and I've decided to enter her weightloss contest. She's a good kid and Ginger and I are thinking about helping to sponsor her so that she can run more races. No we're not going to give thousand of dollars but some money. We don't have much money but I'd like to help in any way I can. Alli has so much potential. She needs a break.
