Lake Effect Snow Watch
... Lake effect snow watch in effect from late Wednesday night
through Saturday morning...

The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a lake
effect snow watch... which is in effect from late Wednesday night
through Saturday morning.

Hazardous weather...

* a prolonged period of moderate to heavy lake effect snow showers
may result in a foot... to a foot and a half of snow from late
Wednesday night through Saturday morning... particularly across the
higher terrain of Ontonagon County... and those areas favored by
   north to northwesterly winds.

* North to northwest winds around 15 to 25 mph will bring patchy
blowing snow to the Keweenaw peninsula Thursday and Thursday
   night.

Impacts...

* snow covered and slippery roads will be possible where lake effect
   snow showers are more persistent.

* Patchy blowing snow will result in rapidly varying visibilities in
open areas where new new snow has fallen.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

* a lake effect snow watch means there is a potential for a
large amount of snow in only a few hours. Visibilities and depth
of snow can vary greatly... impacting travel significantly.
Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.

Ginger is having some more tummy trouble. She said it feels like Diverticulitis again. If things don't get better she's need surgery. She really needs to drink more water and eat more fibre. All she drinks is Dr, Pepper and that isn't doing her any good. All that caffeine and carbonation. I don't know what I can do to help her.

As posted above we've got lake effect snow on the way. Most of the snow we had all melted away last week from the rain we got. I'm hoping we get more snow. If we don't get a lot more then spring and summer will be dry.
