A big huge THANK YOU! goes out to Sue, Jeremy's step-mother, she just booked a room for me at the hotel I was staying in. I can't thank you enough. (I'd call and thank you in person, but don't have your number!)
I had been perfectly content staying in the CICU waiting room, but this is even better!
Thank you again.
Not much new to report, the chest tube is out. Jeremy's up and walking better than before. Standing up with out assistance, does need someone to stand by just in case he gets unsteady, but he hasn't yet. He's taking longer walks and physical therapy is coming and having him do exercise. He has had so many people coming and going in his room.
*Respitory therapy for breathing treatments and to make sure his lungs are getting better.
*Physical therapy for making sure he's moving good.
*Endocrynology for his diabetes.
*Cardio rehab to set up his cardio rehab when he gets home (he will be going to the Ontonagon hospital for that and seeing Winnie Huron).
*His RN, keeping track of all those basic hospital things.
*His CENA, doing all the things CNAs do (and I'm not technically allowed to help him with).
*The cadiologist/surgeons who check on him.
Seems like more when they are coming and going all the time.
I'm glad to report that my sore throat was from the dryness of the hospital, thankfully no fever & I'm feeling better. I'm so glad, I was worried that I would give Jeremy something AND I was missing him.
Okay I'm off to be with Jeremy!
More later when I know more!
