Yesterday morning there was a terrible fire on the main drag of Ontonagon. 6 buildings were totally destroyed. It's all kinda reminiscent to the 1896 fire that totally destroyed downtown Ontonagon. With the bypass and River Street now a dead end and being that you actually have to want to come into Ontonagon to get here or you'll drive right by. I think it's going to really hurt this town. There wasn't much to begin with and now we have even less. I've posted some pictures that I've found on the internet.
