Wow what a storm Ike was. I can't believe what is to come in the track of what is left. What out New England and the rest of the country in its path. Lower Michigan will start getting some of the rain soon. We won't get anything from it but it is raining here. We need the rain real bad.

Gas prices here are 3.99 but will go up .18 a gallon tonight. This is absolutely nuts. I wish we never bought the truck. we topped off this afternoon before the big raise so we won't have to fill up for a while. We don't go anywhere but in town driving sucks up the gas pretty quick. Thankfully we live only about a half mile from the hospital so rabbit can ride her bike until things settle down or snow flies. Tomorrow I'll check the bike over and get it ready for her when she works again on Wednesday. I'm going to give Dad a call and have him come and fix our washer and dryer. They have been down for over a year. We just never had him fix these things but now it's important to get these things fixed. I would also be nice if he could fix all the other things that are broke here but I doubt that is going to happen
