This afternoon I watched the movie Flags of our Fathers. Wow. Grandpa Ingalls fought on Iwo Jima for those 36 days. I never knew very much about that battle but this movie has brought me answers to questions I didn't even know I had until today. I think this is the best movie I have ever watched. Last month I watched the Japanese side of the movie and was just rivited. Knowing what I know now I have all that much more respect for my Grandfather.

I wish I knew more about my Grandpa Hanson. All I know is that he served in the Army Air Force over in Europe as an aircraft mechanic. That's it. Pretty sad eh?
