Hi all,

Ok the new is. I've got a couple spots in my colon that are prone to infection caused from the Tylenol 4 keeping me constipated for so long. I just need need to keep taking the fiber. The abscesses on the back of my neck are another story. It took 3 times the normal amount to knock me out and then I still wasn't out completely. I had trouble breathing while under and that made the surgeon nervous. He opened the left boil and packed it but didn't touch the right side. We need to go to Marquette and be totally under with a cardiologist hanging around during the surgery. I'll tell ya the packed abscess hurts like heck. When we got back into town we stopped at the doctors office to get a new script for Oxy and the nurse told us that the Doc wats us to go to Marquette for the pain specialist. It's about friggen time someone is taking me serious when I say I hurt. I'm not making this crap up. If I tell you I hurt damn it I hurt. Oh a few nights ago Ginger took me to the ER because I was in so much pain. The ER doc gave me an ice pack and told me to take another Oxy. This doctor is the biggest idiot I have ever met. The next day Ginger calls my doc and asks for and increase on the pain meds. They told her that the doc isn't in the office this week because of a family emergency and that they couldn't help us. They told us that if we run out of the Oxy I would have to go to the ER and get help but the ER doc that is covering for the ER doc is the same one who gave me an ice pack and he doesn't write scripts for pain meds. We told her that and she told Ginger that we would have to "pursue alternate options". WTH does that mean? Ever since Dr. Maki left Ontonagon the Ontonagon health care system has gone down the drain. Pursue alternate options? Dr. Takala is my only option. Thankfully we were able to get a new script from the surgeon. I'll tell ya I'm ready to pack us up and move to Marquette. I love Marquette. They have a decent hospital and the city is so nice. It's about the size of Concord and the people are just so nice. Well that's enough fussing for one night.
