My tummy has some butterflies in it now. There is a tornado warning in Menominee County. That's about 2 hours east of us. The wind has picked up here from just a few hours ago. The weather service is talking about some nasty weather this evening and overnight. Our weather radio is going nuts with alerts and the lightening from the storms is already bothering our cable reception. I just looked at the Doppler radar and there isn't anything closer than probably 50 miles of us. I have a program called Storm Predator for the computer and I can keep almost near real time Doppler radar. Since moving here I have become quite the weather buff. I'll update things here later about how the weather is coming. Right now there is very little danger from the weather but being in a flat part of the country and having the second largest body of fresh water (ie even more flat area for tornado or water spout development) Things can get ugly fast from what others have told me about this area.
