ok Good morning guys. First off my Fasting blood sugar is 268. That's real high but lower than it normally is. Normal is between 80 and 150. I'm going to take 50 units of Humalog, 100 units of Lantus and 10 units of Byetta along with my morning meds. For breakfast I'm going to have leftover ravioli from supper. Also I have a brand new Byetta pen. All that is is a new perscription. Byetta comes in a pen needle that give the prescribed medication does. That's the only way to get it (in a pen) I like the pen, it's easy to use and I don't have have to carry around more vials of medicine like I do with the insulin. The only things I have to have is the pen and needles. I have a whole diabetic jump kit that I bring with me where ever I go.

the snow has stopped for the moment. Outside looks almost like a Thomas Kincaid painting. It's so beautiful. The snow is stuck to the trees and everything is white. The church down the street has it bells chiming. It's just so nice. I guess we got about a foot over night but we're expecting more today with the lake effect snow. The wind is still really whipping. Gusts up to 40 they say. Hmmm I glad I'm inside looking out. Well I had better go my breakfast is calling me.
