We've got a wicked storm on the way. Blizzard conditions will start some time overnight. You gotta love it. It's a good thing for the area though. We have the Professional Snowmobile Races this weekend. I guess it's a big deal but I'm not going to see them. I don't like being outside in the cold with Fibro. It makes the arthritis almost unbearable. Last year they had to truck in snow for the races. The Snow go bye Festival is coming up soon also. They make this great big papermache snowman and burn it. It's a blast. Last year for the festival I worked at the computer store while the owner (I forget her name) did all the preparation for the event. I had a real good time working at the store. They kinda went out of business. The store was a side thing for one of the local papers to make a little more cash but Ontonagon is so small they could even make up for cost of having the store. Oh well it was fun.

I am finally away from Microsoft and Bill Gates's Monopoly. I'm running Ubuntu Linux full time now. I tried it a few months ago and just played with it, but now I've made the leap. I love it. I'm waiting for Gins computer to crash to install it on her computer. I'm sick of Bill Gates and the garbage he puts out. Vista is just one big trojan horse. I like the fact with Linux I can modify almost any piece of software to what I need, not what someone else thinks I need. I am in love with Ubuntu Linux. I encourage everyone to give it a try. You can test the software by using a "live" disk which is just you run the operating system from a cd. Nothing gets installed on your hard drive until you tell it to. Just put the cd in your cd drive and reboot the computer. your computer will read the cd and boot into Ubuntu Linux without making any changes to your computer. I did it and I love it. I just can't say enough about it.

Well Law and Order is on now so I'm going to run and go watch it.
