What a nice day it is here in the U.P. It got to 55 and was just glorious. I went out and chipped the ice from our front step and walked over and talked to our neighbor Dave about plowing us out this winter. He said he would do it so that is very cool. I just have to worry about the front step. The front step gets so icy. The two valleys come together just right of the front door and great big icicles form and spread over our front steps. I can't get Sonny my father in law to put up anything like a awning so we can use the door in the winter so we end up using the garage to go in and out. Last year we had something like 3 feet of ice on the steps and we had to keep hacking at it to get the door to open so we could let Katie out to pee. Sonny doesn't give 2 hoots about this place. If I need anything fixed it's up to me to do it and then he complains when we use the rent money to buy what we need to fix what ever is broken.
