What a beautiful day. It's 60 right now and the sun is shining. I just came in from playing with the girls. Katie got a little rambunctious and bit me on the hand but she didn't mean it. As soon as she did it she ran off thinking she would get a spanking. I had to go to her to get her to come back. She really thought she was in trouble. If she had meant to bite me she would have been in trouble but it was an accident. I gave her a hug and some kisses and she was ok. She didn't even break the skin so it wasn't any big deal.
My OA sponsor called this morning to see how things are going. I told her I'm having a tough time with the diabetes and that I am installing an alarm clock on the computer to remind me to test my sugar. Last night I was 489. I shot 50 units of Humalog (fast acting insulin) and waited for it to come down. Being that it was so high made me feel even worse than I was already feeling. I have got to get this under control or I'm going to have a stroke. I have got to get it into my think head I'm a diabetic. I may have to tie the meter to my arm or around my neck. I don't want to die or have any more complications.
