I thought since I have the car today I would take a pic of the lake for everyone. Yes this is Lake Superior during a storm. I am about 150 feet from the edge of the beach in the car because it is so darn cold and windy. The air temp is 34.6 I have no idea what the leake temp is though. All I know is that I wouldn't want to be in it. The waves rolling in are about 5 footers but out about 1/4 to 1/2 mile they are topping 20 feet. Until I moved here I never really had any idea just how powerful water really is. It's amazing on a nice day the lake can be as flat as glass but on days like today you pray no one is out there in trouble.
