I just got done web camming with my OA Sponsor. We cammed for over an hour. Susan is an older woman from California. I'm not sure how old but I really like talking to her. I think what I like best is her motherly way she has with me. No bones about it kinda stuff.

The cold is hanging on and I'm feeling yukky still. Ginger's working and not feeling too bad. I had her come home for lunch and bring me some gingerale. We're having tuna fish sandwiches for supper. Nice and easy.

I heard on the news today that Dr. Maki (my doctor) put his resignation in. He's leaving in 90 days and so is a student doctor Freidly. I see Dr. Maki on Monday and I'll talk to him about his decision. I wish him all the best. I also heard that Winnie was loosing her job. Winnie is the Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) for Ontonagon Memeorial Hospital but I talked to her this afternoon and she said no she isn't leaving but if she was she would hang a shingle out and do it from home. I told her if and when that ever happended she'd have an employee who would work for free. I help Winnie run the Diabetes Support group for Ontonagon County and I would be lost if I had to do everything by myself. Ginger and I are very close to Winnie and her family and we were suprised to hear a rumor like that about Winnie. I'm so happy it wasn't true. OMH is having money troubles right now and they are cutting back on pay and what not so I'm going to talk to the chairman board President to see if we can't start a fundraiser of some type to help pay some of OMH's bills and see if we can't keep the hospital going. Rumors have it OMH might close but that has been around for years but with the doctors leaving it is a bit conserning for the residents of the county. Dr, Maki is the money maker of OMH and with him leaving a ton of money is going to be lost. People will go elsewhere.
